It was love at first sight when we discovered the mid-century, printed mirrored glass oval, centering this lovely necklace. It's sure to make you feel as proud as a peacock.
The peacock oval hangs from an authentic, one-of-a-kind, Victorian-era antique button.
Every antique button is a one and only, chosen just for you, and so will not be identical to the image.
The antique button is, in turn, suspended from two tiny vintage pearl buttons made from mussel shells harvested from the Mississippi River between 1908 & 1964 that we lovingly hand-dyed on the stovetop in our Louisiana studio.
In this piece:
- Two Lady Washington vintage mother-of-pearl buttons
- One antique brass button, circa 1880-1918
- Vintage mid-century oval mirror with a peacock illustration
- Victorian-style brass stampings, made today in the USA in antique dies
- Antiqued brass chain
- Length is 18" with a 4" extender
