The distinctive butterfly button featured in this resplendent necklace was hand-pressed in antique molds and manufactured using centuries-old processes by one of the few remaining Czech glass button pressers still working today.
This extra-special button beauty features gold trim painstakingly trimmed and painted by hand.
The Czech button hangs from a vintage, hand-carved Japanese mid-century mother-of-pearl cabochon.

- Vintage mother-of-pearl, manufactured in Japan circa 1950-1960
- Mint glass button hand-pressed in the Czech Republic in antique molds
- Brass pronged setting stamped today in the USA in vintage dies
