We feature bracelets created by Corda Walker in every limited edition release. Corda has worked as a Grandmother's Buttons' designer for twenty-seven years and inevitably creates magic from a handful of colorful antique buttons, cufflinks, vintage glass, and filigree stampings.

This bracelet contains a small starter collection of rare and collectible antique buttons. We chose three rare French champlevé enamel buttons, including a large unusual oval cufflink in lovely shades of blue with gold gilding in the center.

Champlevé was the most common enameling method in the 19th-century. With this method, cavities are stamped into a metal base, filled with powdered glass, and then fired on high heat.

We're enthralled by antique enameled buttons like these ones. Their vivid colors and painstaking craftsmanship make them the crown jewels of our button collection.

The design is rounded out with three Victorian-era antique brass buttons.

In this piece from the chain end:

  • Brass and cobalt glass waistcoat button, circa 1860
  • Gilded brass oval button, circa 1880-1900
  • Art Nouveau champlevé enamel button, made in Paris circa 1880-1890
