The rare and collectible Art Deco jadeite glass drops featured in these earrings were hand-pressed in Czechoslovakia.
They were an extraordinary find but languished in our studio for many years until we finally hit upon the perfect setting. We think the brass stamped leaf cap is the ideal choice for showing off their unique allure.
The glass drops were made in the 1930s when Art Deco was at the zenith of its popularity. Art Deco celebrates the egalitarian values of the generation of youth who came of age during the optimistic era between the first and second world wars. It was the era of the Flapper, liberated Jazz Age women who abandoned Victorian-era societal expectations and embraced manly pleasures like smoking and dancing in nightclubs.
We hope you’ll pair these beauties with your favorite dancing shoes and then go get your groove on.
