These earrings feature two mid-century German crystals and two extra lovely, hand-pressed vintage German Givre doublets.
Givre is a term used to describe transparent ribbons of opaque color swirling through the lampworked glass. We adore the unique character this process adds to the stone.
In this piece:
- Sapphire octagon West German crystal, circa 1950
- Lampworked & hand-pressed blue Givre’ doublet, made in West Germany, circa 1950
- Four pronged, stamped brass settings made today in the USA in vintage dies
- Nickel-free & lead-free brass euro wire closures
