This bracelet flaunts a small starter collection of vintage Czech and German glass buttons and cabochons.
Czech and German button artisans honed their skills for centuries, and then in the early 18th century, they were the first to start pressing hot glass into molds. By the early 20th century, they’d mastered their craft and were exporting exquisitely detailed glass buttons worldwide.
This bracelet is also anchored with an antique, one-of-a-kind, Victorian-era chased or hammered button. Metalworkers forged the lovely design on this button by ‘hammering’ on its backside to create a low relief design or ‘chasing’ on the front side to sink the metal.
The antique button is one and only, chosen just for you, and so yours will not be identical to the image.
